Senior Designer/Art Director
We have immediate requirements for a full-time Senior Designer/Art Director for print and web.
Responsibilities:
– Lead development of creative strategies, concepts and ideas
– Provide high level design thinking and concepts for all HBG clients
– Provide design and creative strategy for print, web-based media &
broadcast/video
– Participate in internal strategy development sessions
– Contribute to client presentations
– Manage all project schedules and work load of designers/writers in the Creative
department
– Provide creative direction/mentoring to design team
– Develop and monitor internal/external production schedules with Account Team
– Review all creative work for quality and consistency of creative strategy
– Manage and art direct photo sessions as required
– Manage and/or implement final art production
– Manage creative/production vendor resources, i.e. printers, photographers,
etc. (develop printing specifications, gather estimates, manage production
schedule with print resource, attend press checks, etc.)
Must have at least 5-7 years experience. Experience within the healthcare industry is a plus. Must be proficient with Macintosh applications and systems, including Adobe Creative Suite & Quark.

Freelance Copywriter
Our company is thoughtful, respectful, collaborative, strategic and creative. We are looking for a unique and energetic individual to add to our creative team who can be all of those things, and more.
The Freelance Copywriter will support the Senior Copywriter and creative team in the development of brand–focused print and web communications tools, as well as other strategic documents as needed. The right candidate will have a strong understanding of proper grammar and usage, and will demonstrate excellent written communication skills, including original copywriting, editing and proofreading. A strong attention to detail is a must.
This position will be structured on a project basis (with the possibility of full–time employment at a later date) and requires the flexibility to meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities:
– Creating original and strategic voice for new and existing brands
– Writing original corporate branding and marketing collateral (brochures,
websites, etc.)
– Proofreading/editing of existing documents
– Research/fact–checking
Qualifications:
– Copywriting experience required
– Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
– Excellent organization skills with an ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
to meet both internal timelines and external deadlines
– Strategic, intelligent and creative thinking
– Comfort in using the various resources available for research
– A desire to learn, be challenged and be an instrumental part of a growing
company
– Flexibility, open–mindedness, enthusiasm and a sense of humor
– Ability to work well as part of a team and independently as needed
– Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
– Bachelor’s degree in English/Communications/Journalism preferred
